This unit is like a small 1 bedroom apartment/hotel room that is attached to Aaron and Sara’s house (you have complete privacy though). They have a deadbolt lock door, locking it off, so it’s your private unit. You have access to the yard, fire pit, grill and all the beach toys. It’s about a 6-8 minute walk to the beach here in Carlsbad and a 1 mile walk to town. It is a few houses down from the train, so you will hear train noise, however they do provide ear plugs. It best fits two people or a couple with one- two small children (There is a Queen bed in the bedroom) and a queen pull out sofa in the living area. The whole unit is a little bit more than 300 square ft. They also have a shared laundry on the side of the building that you are welcome to use.

Things to Note:

The backyard is a shared backyard with Sara and Aaron. However, during your stay they’ll just need to water their garden and be able to go to the side of their house to do laundry. Other than that, they give you your privacy, so you can enjoy the yard.

-It's also right by the train, so you will hear train noise/beeps. We always want to make sure guests are aware of that, prior to booking. We also have a 3 night minimum.

What’s included?

Beach wagon, beach toys, boogie boards, beach umbrella, a surf board, beach towels and bikes, are all available for you to use during your stay. Backyard grill and fire pit are available for you to use any time as well! Also, feel free to pick some of our veggies or fruit that you see in the yard!
